The Nanni N9.510 CR2 is a 6-cylinder in-line marine diesel engine built on a 9-liter John Deere engine block. It delivers an output of 373 kW (507 hp) at a rated speed of 2400 rpm and produces a peak torque of 1869 Nm. This advanced common-rail unit features replaceable wet-type cylinder liners, 4 valves per cylinder, a turbocharger, and an air-to-seawater aftercooler. In this propulsion package, the engine is paired with a heavy-duty hydraulic ZF Hurth ZF 286 IV "V-Drive" marine gearbox. Featuring an integrated 14° vee-angle, this V-drive transmission allows the engine to be mounted facing aft, saving valuable space within the machinery compartment. Combined with a precise 2.011:1 reduction ratio, this configuration is perfectly engineered for large express cruisers, luxury motoryachts, and commercial craft requiring a compact footprint and reliable high-torque drivetrain management. The complete package includes a closed cooling system with a heat exchanger, a dedicated transmission oil cooler, and a 24V electrical architecture fitted with a 100-Amp alternator. Holding an M4 duty rating (up to 3000 annual operating hours with a load factor up to 40%), the engine complies with RCD2 2013/53/EU, EPA Marine Tier 3, NRMM Tier 3, and IMO Marpol Annex VI emission standards.
