Centaflex flexible propeller shaft couplings, series AGM with thrust bearing

Double couplings with thrust bearing. Highly flexible couplings for mounting between gear and propeller shaft providing a dramatic reduction of noise and vibration. Due to the large volume of rubber used a very smooth transmission of torque and propeller thrust is achieved. The noise level will drop up to 5dBA, meaning a reduction of to one‐third. The couplings have a fail‐save device which ensures that power can continue to be transmitted even if the rubber fails. All couplings are fastened to the plain cylindrical propeller shaft by means of a securely dimensioned clamping hub.
